A history of Currency in the British Colonies

Sir Robert Chalmers.  Facsimile reprint of the 1893 edition published by John Drury, antiquarian book-seller of Colchester.  HB (green cloth with gilt-titled spine).  viii + 496 pages.  155 x 240mm.  Gives the legislation for the coinage of British dominions all round the world including the West Indies, Africa, Australasia, Gibraltar, Malta and Cyprus, India, Ceylon, Mauritius, Hong Kong, etc.  Tables of coins current, weights, finenesses, etc. An important book.  Dj sunned, a little grubby and slightly frayed at the edges, internally almost as new.

This is not a crappy resized paperback, but a quality* reprint made for an antiquarian bookseller of considerable repute. *Alas, there is no single word in English that corresponds to the Danish or German 'gedigen'.
