BORWICK'S BAKING POWDER countermarked on France 10 centimes 1853D.  Scott 22.202.  Coin about fair, countermark VF and so strong that a positive impression of it can be seen on the reverse of the coin.

The product was first made in 1842, by George Borwick (1807-1889). It is still available today.
