Issued in Great Britain, Ireland, and the Colonies, Within the Last Twenty Years; From the farthing to the Penny Size.
James Conder. Ipswich, 1799. Address to the Public + preface by the late James Wright: xvi + 330 pages + 3 plates + page of errata.
A recent professionally-bound volume in yellow-brown cloth and light brown leather, with black gilt label. Hand-marbled endpapers. The frontespiece, the title and the second and 3rd plates are damp stained, or foxed, and a little yellowed and quite a few pages are lightly foxed. There is a library label on the reverse of the title. Otherwise a fair copy. There are numerous interleavings which have illustrations and line drawings and cuttings from other token works such as Pye, attached to them. There are many annotations, chiefly markings to indicate whether the owner before the library had the token in his collection or not, done ca 1911.
