The authors of the other sections are equally well-known and expert in their fields.

Works in this worthwhile series examine the latest numismatic research during the period in the title, and the books in which it is published.  They are a very valuable tool for the scholar and the serious numismatist, and those who want to find out what has been done in any particular field. Books published are reviewed by those who know the field and the book brought together by the editors.  The most common language in the book is english, but there are chapters in german and french.  This particular volume looks at numismatic research on a country-by country basis.  Hoards and their contents are examined.
