John Whitmore collected and studied these for many years. Having lived and worked in Birmingham, he formed a significant collection of them.  The book begins with a brief history of the market, then there is a catalogue of those pieces known, and an index of makers named on the tokens.  Issued at the Token Congress of 1995 to each delegate.
