Describes economic development in ancient China. Cowries and their imitations. The spade coinage, the knife coinage and later round coinages, and commerce from the Shang dynasty to about 220BC. This is the best available version. Spine slightly faded, and a previous owner's small address label on the ffep, otherwise a very good copy, almost as new.
