Silver, 11.8mm diameter, 0.40 gram. + SIMON around a cross potent with bezants and crescents in alternate angles.  Rv. Star and crescent and fleur de lis.  Cf. Ghyssens 101, P d'A. 6419.  Flan incursion and tiny crack, otherwise F - Good F and better for the issue.

Present-day Artois is in northern France, near the border with Belgium. From the 9th to the 12th century, Artois was governed by the counts of Flanders. It passed to Philip II Augustus of France in 1180 and remained under French influence until 1329, when a period of Burgundian domination began.
