HB (Pictorial printed cover)  160 pages.  Illustrated throughout with hundreds of b&w pictures.  Published as Part 4 of Seaby's Standard Catalogue of British Coins.  115 x 185mm.   No dj (as published).  Cover a little marked, corners slightly rubbed and 1cm of the edge of the lower front board. Owner's ex libris stamp on the ffep, and publisher's price label on rear cover, otherwise contents good-very good and clean.

NB  The illustration is an unretouched image of the actual book offered for sale.

Covers regal coins: David I (1124-1153) to Anne (1702-14), James VIII (the old Pretender) and Charles III (Bonnie Prince Charlie) 1720-88. A selection of tokens from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, countermarked 'dolllars', transportation tokens, misc. advertising tickets, etc. Much useful information, including a bibliography, and a listing of Latin legends on coins and their translations into English.
