Catalogues 69 gold trientes of the Visigoths in the collection of Luiz José Ferreira. The coins are now in the collection of the American Numismatic Society, having been transferred from the Hispanic Society of America in 1957. The whereabouts of the Ferreira collecton was unknown until the pedigree of the coins was identified by George C Miles and published in ANS Museum Notes 12, 1966, pp129-137.
A very rare book. Clain-Stefanelli — for either this first edition, or the second !
