Gilt Æ 28.5mm diameter, 10.99 grams.  A MAP OF FRANCE 1794 around square border within which a foot, and words all around.  HONOR trodden underfoot, throne upended, FRANCE divided, GLORY erased, RELIGION split apart, FIRE in all corners.  Rv. MAY  GREAT BRITAIN  EVER REMAIN  THE  REVERSE in five lines across field on a radiate star, wreath around. Small lettering.  Edge plain (roughly filed)   Cf. DH 1017f, metal not recorded.   Extremely fine - Good EF.

Comparison of the this with two copper specimens shows that the gilded piece was an earlier strike on a 10% heavier flan before the long die crack occurred.
