The bank began in 1836 when the Birmingham and Midland Bank was formed. Under the bold guidance of its 28 year old founder and first manager, Charles Geach, the new bank rapidly prospered and in 1891 moved its HQ to London.
Decorated black cloth. A signature, hidden by the dj on the front pastedown, otherwise a clean nice copy, though the d/j of the spine is a sunned. From the library of Yasha Beresiner.
