This medal is a souvenir from the Paris Mint engraved by Jean-Baptiste Daniel Dupuis (1849-1899)
Dupuis was a French medallist and sculptor, son of a painter, who became a student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris when only 16 years old. It is a fine example of Art nouveau.
