This work was issued irregularly in parts, which the recipient could then bind as they wished. It looks as if the wrong size was sent for a few of them. Apart from the few odd sizes, this is complete.
This incredible work covers all sorts of tokens, halfpennies and farthing-sized, 18th century, 19th century, to pub checks, to miscellaneous that is almost unclassifiable. To the British token collector it is the first two volumes in the series that are the important ones.
Early 1900s stout light green cloth library binding, with book plates at the beginning of each volume and a few library stamps scattered throughout. Otherwise, apart from the few flaws mentioned above, a nice clean copy of this work which is difficult to find complete and on large, and even rarer, extra large paper.
