On the Coins of William I and II and the Sequence of the Types. William I and II their Mints and Moneyers.

Philip William Poole Carlyon-Britton. Reprinted from The Numismatic Chronicle 1902, 4th series vol II.  16 pages.  The second is reprinted from The Numismatic Circular 1902, 56 pages.   HB (blue cloth with the title in gilt-lettering blocked onto the front cover), Each page is interleaved with a similar paper, for notes. 136 x 216mm.  The final pages are a table of the mints and the types they are known to have struck. Many of the pages are annotated to indicate that the owner has seen the coin, and the next page has a nicely*, neatly written note of the legend.  Spine sunned, small stain on front cover.  Not quite sure if the top edge is a little dusty, or gilt, or both.  Some pages a little tanned, otherwise good to very good and clean.

*In its proper meaning.
