W. Tipper was landlord of the Plough in 1868-70, he is not in the 1872 directory.

The Plough, in High Street, was Wolstanton’s oldest surviving pub until 2012 when it was demolished to be replaced by three modern ‘retail units’.   This 2d check is RRR and the previous owner paid £55 for it on e-bay.in October, 2017.
