The standard reference work on 18th-century tokens, otherwise known in the USA as 'Conders'.  The counties of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland are arranged alphabetically with an introduction to each section.  Addenda and corrigenda, a note of tokens known in other metals, such as gold and silver, and a general index. Altogether, 6,845 tokens are listed with their comparative rarities. There are over 2,500 good b/w illustrations in the text.  The best of the American reprints.
