This remarkable publication follows on from Ken Banham's book which grew out of the first ever Token Congress. The material that has come to light in the 20 years since its publication is presented here by the redoubtable Brian Edge.

The late Brian Edge was born in Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire, and educated at Holker Street School. An RAF veteran, now living in Crewe, Cheshire, he had a 42-year career with British Railways, retiring in 1989. He had an interest in numismatics for over 65 years.
His published works include: Coins and All About Them (Faber & Faber 1973), and The First Dictionary of Paranumismatica (privately published) Crewe 1991.
He founded the Crewe & District Coin & Medal Society in 1968 and started the Token Congress in 1982.
