Brass, 40mm diameter.  RYG DOLLAR SHAG * RYG DOLLAR SHAG around eagle facing, wings spread.  R. RYG DOLLAR SHAG in centre of a wreath of tobacco leaves.  Edge nicks, otherwise Good Very Fine.

This brand of tobacco was manufactured by Chr. Augustinus’ Fabrikker.  It was no longer available after 1940 due to the war,  The incuse circle on the reverse covers an inscription on an earlier issue of the token :  SWEETENED PURE VIRGINIA • FOR PIPES & CIGARETTES•
