Fuld rarity 4.  Struck from a heavily broken obverse die, and on a brockage of itself.  There are three cuds above Washington's head and another below obliterating half of the date.  It is unlikely that many more coins were struck before the die disintegrated, otherwise VF

Claus Doscher appears in the 1862 New York City directory as a grocer, using 241 Washington St., though this was actually his home address and his business was located at 305 Washington.   By 1863 he had become a liquor dealer as well as a grocer.  The 1864 directory lists his business locations as both 241 and 305 Washington Street.
