Garndiffaith is a Monmouthshire village (now Torfaen) in south east Wales. It is a small rural area situated between Talywain and Varteg, three miles north of the town of Pontypool and 3.5 miles south of the town of Blaenavon The village is now part of the Abersychan suburb of Pontypool.
The Garndiffaith and Varteg Co-operative Society was a co-operative society that covered Garndiffaith and Varteg. Garndiffaith Co-operative Society was established in 1889 and in 1908 merged with Varteg to form Garndiffaith and Varteg Industrial Provident Society. In 1982 Garndiffaith and Varteg Co-operative Society transferred its engagements to Co-operative Retail Services Limited.
