The Gorefield (nr Wisbech) Hoard, deposited ca. 1315 consisted of 1189 coins, mainly pennies of Edward I, some of the first type of Edward II and a few halfpennies, farthings and continental sterlings.  Those that were not kept by museums are sold here. (lots 881-1037).  Very good clean condition, internally almost as new. With list of prices realised.
