Werner Kirst. 1979 Translated from the german by Brenda Groth. Well illustrated, mostly in colour. 46 pages.
Tells the story of money through the eyes of a little boy who visits a swiss bank. Much of it is done through the anology of currency trading - so good for any smart child aged ten or over who can handle the arithmetic. Also looks at sunken treasure, making money at the Bavarian Mint, coins around the world, collecting coins as a hobby.
Could easily get a child started on coin collecting. The teacher in me approves of this one, especially at this price !
Technically new, but storage soiled.
