The Hunter Coin Cabinet is one of the world's premier coin collections and has particularly fine Roman coins, some from the Coats collection which was donated to the museum in 1924.
This volume covers the period from the beginning of the joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus (235 AD) to the end of the reign of the British usurper Allectus (296 AD). About 2000 coins are described, including some great rarities from the Coats Collection, donated in 1924.
Spine of the dw faded, and the price is clipped off, otherwise a very good copy.
