And William & Mary; Anne’s Half-Pence and Farthings; Modern Proofs & Patterns, in Copper.  And some beautiful PAPAL AND NAPOLEON MEDALS  &, &c, &c. 20-23 Jul, 1840.  Catalogue of the Valuable Collection of Coins and Medals of the late Reverend Dr. Goodall provost of Eton; together with the many mahogony cabinets.  36 pages.  540 lots.  Neatly hand priced with buyers’ names.
Note written on the front page: This Catalogue does not contain all of the Medals which Dr Goodall collected.  An immense quantity were sent to the Bullion Office at this Bank, and sold as old silver: the Sale of them by auction being likely to produce no profit.  H. E.
