The brand name of leather produced by the firm of G T Hawkins Ltd. of Northampton, ca. 1900-1914.

It is possible that this is a metal tag that was attached to bundles of leather hides from the Waukerz factory. Chrome leather was softer and more hard-wearing than that made by the traditional tanning process.
